Foodie Fav's

We have lots of Sharky’s Souvenir cups to use in the cup bin on top of the wine chiller. Take these with you to the restaurant for a couple of bucks off your drinks! They also make a great container off you want to make your own drinks for the beach! Please return so everyone can use.

  • Sharky’s Beachfront Restaurant - A must to visit just across the street. Atmosphere, drinks, food, epic sunsets, it’s just awesome. By the way…they have two play areas on the beach with swings, slides, and a Pirate ship! A parents dream:) We also have cups to use there for a few dollars off drinks. 
  • Runaway Island - Just down the road to the east. They have amazing food and service. You can also just walk up from the beach and grab a drink or food. 
  • Authentika Mexican restaurant - Open Sands shopping center just to the East. This is legit Mexican food. Not normally a beach staple but if your in the mood it really is great.
  • Firefly Restaurant - If your looking for a date night with slightly higher end food. The food here is top notch. 
  • Pineapple Willy’s - Another great beach front restaurant. The pineapple drink here is soooo good. Hard to replicate for some reason ha.
  • Schooner’s Local Beach Club - Beachfront, sunsets, awesome food and atmosphere. A little further away at the east end of the beach.
  • Pier Park - Has lots of restaurants to choose from as well. Easiest to Google or Yelp some of that. So many chain restaurants and such to choose from around this area. Less than one mile away!
  • Homemade Ice Cream Shop - This one is dangerous!! In the Open Sands shopping center (neighborhood). Absolutely delicious homemade ice cream. The best around for sure. 
  • Hook’d Pier Bar -  Great place to grab a quick drink before or after the pier!.
  • Finn’s Island Style Grub - If you head to the East end of PCB, be sure to stop in Finns for really great food. SO fresh. Perfect location if you visit St Andrews State Park.
  • Shan Kishi!- Sushi Time! So close its dangerous….Best Sushi around its so fresh and so good.
  • Local Steamer - Also located in the Open Sands shopping center a couple of blocks East. Amazing fresh, steamed fish and flavorful sides and such:)
  • Diego’s Burrito & Margarita Factory - Looking for a quick Burrito, street taco, quesadilla, or bowl? This is it. It’s so good you will come back for more! Oh and don’t forget a margarita your on beach time:)
  • Parlor Donuts - Oh man! Made fresh all day long and great gluten free and vegan options for you. Get there earlier in the day before 3pm and be sure to check their hours before heading over.

Fun Fav's

  • Gulf World - Awesome Zoological park for kids and adults. Bike, walk, or drive its very close by.
  • Zoo World - A really nice zoo that’s very interactive for  kids. Petting zoo, feeding giraffes and goats. The birds are a highlight I will say!
  • Jump Zone - Indoor trampoline park and just all things jump. Kids love it. Its east a few miles from the house. Great for a rainy day or getting energy out of toddlers.
  • Dave & Busters - Massive amount of games indoors, great drinks and food as well. Perfect for a rainy day or when needing a break from the beach.
  • Pier Park - Pier Park has several cool jumping games, putt putt, ropes course, and more. 
  • Hidden Lagoon Putt Putt - Closest Putt Putt to the house. Just take a left out of the neighborhood onto Front Beach Rd and your there! We usually walk/bike.
  • Frank Brown Park - Really one of the nicest recreation parks in the country. Playgrounds galore, splash pads, walking trails, etc. They have a toddler time at the kiddie waterpark/splash pad in the early mornings. Everything you want in a rec park and more. 
  • Waterparks - Shipwreck Island is the closest.
  • Golf - Legacy Golf Club is a mile away and Signal Hill Golf Club is only a few miles away. There is also Bay Point Golf Club which is about 15 miles away.
  • St Andrews State Park - Really nice state park. 
  • Shell Island - There are several places on the east end lagoon to rent a boat or take a shuttle boat over to explore. High, highly recommend. Google the highlights if you’re interested :)
  • Pier Park - Skywheel is what I had in mind but there are other activities there including a movie theatre. 
  • Pirate Ship - Take a cruise on a pirate ship. Fun for All!
  • If that’s not enough remember you can snorkel, visit the amusement parks, go kart tracks, rent a golf cart, rent a slingshot, sunset cruises, rent a pontoon, jet ski rentals.
